Replacement of PAC

Prerequisites

Overview

The PAC is located under the right side of the magnet enclosure.

1 Removal of PAC

Procedure

  1. Remove right front and rear skirt cover. (Refer to Skirt Cover Removal)
  2. Cut the tie-wraps fixing cables.
  3. Disconnect the all cables attached to the PAC.
  4. Remove 2 screws holding PAC to tray.
  5. Remove the PAC.

2 Installation of New PAC

Procedure

  1. Place new PAC on tray.
  2. Tighten 2 screws.
  3. Connect the all cables.
  4. Fix the cables with tie-wraps.
  5. Restore skirt covers.
  6. Remove tag-out tag from circuit breaker.
  7. Restore power.
