Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Remove L Upper Front Cover. Refer to SC Cover Removal.
  2. Remove the access cover by loosening screws from SC rear panel.
  3. Disconnect all connectors from rear panel of GP3. （From left side: CLK, X, Y, Z, J7, J8, J10, J11, J12 and J13 connectors）

  4. Remove 4 screws tightening GP3 to the chassis.
  5. Slide GP3 out from front side of the chassis.

  6. Disconnect Power Cable for Fan assy on GP3.

  7. Restore GP3 by reverse order of removal.
  8. Restore System cabinet.

1 Finalization

note: Download time can be up to 10 minutes on a replacement GP3 module. If the software loaded on the Signa system does not match the firmware loaded on the GP3 Board received as a replacement, there will be a one-time lengthy download of current firmware to the GP3. During this download the IPG will read “GP Load”. Please be patient.

Procedure

  1. Restore the Power. Refer to System Cabinet PDU Main Breaker LOTO Procedure.
  2. To adjust DC Offsets, refer to DC Offset Adjustment .
  3. Perform [TPS Reset].
  4. Perform DQA Tool.
