Laser Radiation Hazard!
Invisible laser radiation can be emitted from disconnected fiber-optic cables or connectors.
Do not stare into the beam, point the cable or connector ends at your eyes, or view through optical instruments.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause permanent damage to electronic components. Observe the following ESD precautions:
- Wear a static wrist strap to ensure that any accumulated electrostatic charge is discharged from your body to the ground.
- Create a common ground for the equipment being worked on by connecting the static-free mat, static wrist strap, and peripheral units to that piece of equipment.

The SFP optical transceiver is very sensitive to ESD. SFP latent failures can occur, in dry climates or low relative humidity, surpassing their ESD protection.
Contaminant failures can occur in SFP optics and exposed glass Rx and Tx cable ends. Do not touch the exposed ends on fiber connectors. Leave the dust caps in place until you are ready to install the SFP module. Use the Fiber Optics Cleaning Kit to clean both the SFP and cable end every time they are replaced or swapped from one port to another, or when using a loopback.
When working with the SFP optical transceiver or SFP Loopback, also observe the following precautions:
- Always use ESD protection when handling the SFP optical transceiver to prevent early failure.
- Always keep a protective cap on unplugged fiber connections.
- The SFP must be shipped in antistatic packaging. Discard any SFP shipped or stored without proper ESD protection.

The unit can be withdrawn with slide rail.

Overview

Procedure

Remove L Upper Front Cover and R Upper Front Cover. SC Cover Removal.
Disconnect all connectors from front panel of CAM Lite and HUB.
- Ethernet switch (HUB): port 6, port 7, port 8
- UPM1, 2: J3
- NB DET1, 2: J1, J4
- NB AIF: J3, J5
- IRF3: J8, J11, J13
Loosen 4 screws which are tightening CAM LITE 2 bracket and chassis.

To withdraw CAM Lite2 chassis, remove CAM Lite Access Plate and check remove optical cables from STIF Board.

Withdraw CAM LITE 2 Assy until it stops at stopper position.

note:
When draw out the unit, be careful to cables and unit.
Disconnect all connectors from rear panel of CAM Lite 2.
- STIF: J11, J12, J13, J14, J15, J16, J17, J18, J19, J4, J5, J3, J7
- IRF I/O: J20, J21, J23
- Power cables and Ethernet cables of Ethernet Switch HUB and Term Server.
note:
Cut the tie wraps on the Ethernet Hub Base Bracket.
Remove PS 400W to decrease the weight of CAM Lite 2 Assy for safety reason. Refer to CAM Lite Front Board for board removal.

Remove 3 front screws and 3 rear screws.

Lift handle of CAM Lite at rear side and lift CAM Lite chassis from front side. Then, remove CAM Lite 2 Assy.

Remove 4 screws from Ethernet hub base bracket, and remove Ethernet hub assy from CAM Lite 2.

Replace the boards to new CAM chassis .
Install the Ethernet hub assy by fixing 4 screws to CAM Lite 2 chassis.
Restore System Cabinet by reverse order.

1 Finalization

Procedure

Restore the Power. Refer to System Cabinet PDU Main Breaker LOTO Procedure.
Run MGD Diagnostics to ensure proper functionality.
Run one head or body scan.
