Note: These flowcharts are designed to help you troubleshoot degraded system performance or hard failures in the RF subsystem. If you know you have an RF stability problem, they can help you determine if you have the correct waveshapes, with a known PSD sequence.

  1. Oscilloscope rated at 200MHz or better.
  2. A 30 db Dummy Load (Attenuator)
  3. At least a 5 foot BNC cable.                  See  [Cables & Connectors]                                   
  4. At least a 5 foot RG-214 cable.
  5.  A 50W terminator and a BNC "Tee" connector. (All readings must be done with a 50W load.)
