2 Purpose

This test checks the cradle movement according to the test sequence.

6 Test Sequence

  1. Find table home position. Command the cradle back to home position if it is not at home position.

  2. Command the cradle to move to 100mm and verify that it got there. This is the 1# Positioning test.

  3. Limit switch test. Verify the limit switch is not engaged.

  4. Velocity test. Command the cradle to move 500mm and see if the table moves at the right speed.

  5. See if we can get the cradle back to position 100. This is the 2# Positioning test.

7 Expected Results

The diagnostic will return PASS or FAIL.
